Please join us for the upcoming MHNA meeting this Tuesday, June 15th from 7:00pm to 8:30 pm at Gingras Ecumenical Center, 1419 V Street NW.  Come hear about some of the exciting projects MHNA is working on as well as the events going on in your neighborhood!  Agenda:

1. Status Update on U Street Movie Series (Turn-Out, Corporate Donations Needed, Volunteers for Next Event)
2. Meeting with Drum Circle Contact to discuss playing hours
3. Meeting with Gas Station Owners
4. Update on Property at Corner of 14th and Florida
5. Tabling at Future Events (Farmers' Market, W Street Block Party, etc)
6. Crime and Safety
7. Mixer and Other Upcoming Events

U Street movie series isn't just about the popcorn

JantzenBy sundown on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at least 450 neighbors converged on Harrison Park to watch This Is It, the Michael Jackson movie, the first in the U Street Movies series, and munch on free popcorn from Ventor Sports Cafe.  Washington Area Bicyclist Association provided free bicycle valet parking service.
