Ever wonder what an ANC is and how it affects your neighborhood? Read on to learn more.
The Latin American Youth Center and the #10 Parents Association announced today that the District of Columbia awarded them a contract to manage youth programs at the #10 Boys and Girls Club, located at 2500 14th Street, NW. They state that they are committed to offering positive youth development programs and a full range of community based special events and programs, beginning January 10, 2011.
The awardees are designing programs, hiring staff, establishing an Advisory Board, and recruiting volunteers.

MHNA's second annual holiday party will take place on the evening of Tuesday, January 18, 2011 (the Tuesday after Martin Luther King, Jr., weekend), instead of the monthly meeting. We'll take a few minutes to elect officers.
