Next free movie night - Tuesday, July 13, 2010, Buena Vista Social Club

More then 450 people attended the June 8, 2010, screening of This Is It. Think Screen on the Green with picnicking, but in a smaller, more intimate setting, and cooler flicks.  There's also always a live DJ before the movies begin. Fojol Bros makes an appearance.  Gates open at 7:00 pm; movies will start at sundown around 8:30.  And free popcorn for the first 100 people!

Our film in June, Michael Jackson’s This Is It, attracted over 450 folks. It was a great scene.  We’ll be showing 3 more great music-related films to pay homage to U Street’s musical past.
